Cancellation & Refund

This Cancellation and Refunds Policy outlines the terms for cancelling subscriptions and requesting refunds across the Magicwant platform, developed and operated by Foonza Media Pvt Ltd.
 
1. Merchant Cancellations (For Magicwant Subscription and Usage)
Magicwant is offered as a month-on-month pay-as-you-go SaaS platform for businesses. Merchants may cancel their usage at any time through the following steps:
 
How to Cancel
  1. Log in to your Magicwant account.
  2. Navigate to Edit Shop, then select Deactivate for the shop you wish to stop using.
  3. Go to the Billing tab under your Business Profile.
  4. Click Unsubscribe to stop all further billing.
Important Notes
  • A minimum duration of 2 days must pass after activating a shop before cancellation is allowed.
  • Magicwant charges are usage-based with no upfront annual or long-term commitments.
  • Since billing is calculated monthly on actual usage, no refunds are issued once charges are incurred.
  • Cancelling a shop prevents any further charges unless it is reactivated later.
 
2. End-User Cancellations and Refunds (For Orders Placed with Merchants)Merchant Responsibility
Magicwant is a software platform. It does not sell goods or services to end-users. Each merchant on the platform is independently responsible for managing:
  • Order cancellations and approvals,
  • Refund processing,
  • Fulfilment and delivery issues.
Magicwant provides the tools required to manage these functions but does not intervene in the outcome of disputes.
 
Customer Requests
Customers must contact the respective merchant directly to cancel orders or request refunds. Contact options are provided on each merchant’s page. If a merchant is unresponsive, users may write to care@magicwant.com, and our team will facilitate a resolution wherever possible.
 
Timelines
  • Merchants should respond to all refund or cancellation requests within 3 working days.
  • Refunds, when approved, should be processed by the merchant within 7–10 working days, subject to banking timelines.
 
Exclusions
Refunds may not be applicable for:
  • Perishable or time-sensitive goods (e.g. groceries, cooked food),
  • Orders already fulfilled or dispatched,
  • Custom-made or personalised products,
  • Subscription services that are in progress or completed.
 
3. Platform Disclaimer and Limitations
Magicwant provides digital tools to connect merchants and customers but does not participate in the fulfilment, delivery, or settlement of goods and services sold by merchants.As such:
  • Magicwant is not liable for disputes between merchants and end-users.
  • Refunds, once processed by the merchant, follow the standard timelines of the banking or payment gateway provider.
  • Magicwant does not issue refunds on behalf of merchants.
