POS or billing software?
Retail billing software prints the bill. A retail POS runs the whole shop: the counter, stock, online orders and payments.
Magicwant does both, and then helps you bring the customer back.
How much does retail billing software cost in India?
Many retail POS systems don’t publish their prices. Others charge a setup fee or a one-time licence, sell you their hardware, and lock you into an annual plan paid up front. Magicwant is ₹450 a month with no setup fee, no hardware to buy and no annual contract, and your first month is free. Optional tools such as stock tracking and delivery are priced separately, only if you turn them on.
Can I scan barcodes and items priced by weight?
Yes. With Retail & Inventory (₹75 a month), you scan barcodes with your phone’s camera in the Shopops app, so there’s no scanner to buy. For loose items, Magicwant reads the weight from the barcode label your weighing scale prints.
Can I sell online without building an app?
Yes. You get your own online store, in your name and your colours, which customers open in the Magicwant app or on your own website. Share the link on WhatsApp and customers can order straight away.
How does delivery work?
Customers pick a delivery slot or a delivery time, whichever you’ve set up. Deliver with your own team on the Magicwant app or hand the order to our delivery partners, with OTP-verified pickup and drop-off. Magicwant’s fee is ₹2 per delivery and free for your first month. Partner charges are separate, based on distance and paid from your Service wallet, which you top up to keep a balance; you can add them to the customer’s order.
Can customers subscribe to daily milk or bread?
Yes. With Subscriptions (₹60 a month), customers subscribe once and you deliver on the schedule they chose. You set the frequency, duration, discounts and how many times they can pause.

Does it work if the internet goes down?
